I always feel like a jerk taking pictures of homeless people, but they make such a good subject. This was at the Legion of Honor monument in San Francisco.

I love old fixtures like this… there was a time when everything had style.

Sounds like a song title to me. This was shot at 2 in the morning with my lubitel2 I believe, heavily post processed faking the ttv effect.

Shit… has it been quite some time. So I felt like it was just about time to post a new picture. My photos came off of the wall at Main Artery this past weekend, without much interest I presume. Anywho here is one I took at New Brighton Beach a couple of weeks ago. My family, and some friends spent the weekend out there. This was the nasty looking shower head on the beach. Surprise for you it’s not through the viewfinder of a Polaroid as the most recent ones have been. I do have quite a few of those to post though so don’t you worry.

This is an old shot from Pin-a-go-go in 2007. It was super boring before I modified the contrast and added some vigneetingl. I love it now, and in fact this one as well as the last are currently on display at the Main Artery Gallery in Benicia, Ca. until April 19th.

So I have been released from limited duty, so that means tomorrow I go back to work… for one day. Then I have my normal weekend for three days. Still plugging away at the house, slowly but surely. I have been trying to take pictures… but just haven’t feeling it recently. I think I need to take a trip somewhere and that will take care of it. I did pick up another Polaroid to shoot through the viewfinder of. Only paid 2 bucks for it at a thrift store in town. As soon as my garage isn’t full of furniture Ill have to get it ready to go.

So the bottom floor of our house is painted… for the most part anyways.  We are waiting for the marble people to come measure for and install the coutertops then we can paint the kitchen.  Today should be my last full day of being disabled from work so I have quite a bit to get done.  But on with things this is an old photo of my best friends ‘54 Chevy 210 Sedan.  It was shot with my Holga before it was dismantled for various projects.

Progress is moving on the house pretty quickly.  My future step-uncle-in-law came by today to measure for floors and added a couple of steps to complete before painting our house.  We are living in our house while freshening it up a bit, so we will be living without flooring, furniture, and counter tops for a little while.  It will all be worth it in the end when we have a gorgeous house to live in.  This one again through the viewfinder of the Polaroid One Step, by my trusty Canon SD600.

Well one more for today… from and antique shop in Benicia. More overdoing it with the TTV business.

Man oh man.  So I ripped my finger open at work today, it was fantastic.  So after nine stitches to put my finger print back in place, I have been placed on limited duty which means disability as a mechanic.  That means I will be home for the next week or so and will probably have a flurry of posts.  I will still need to be productive around the house though.  This past weekend we moved our roomates to their new home and began stripping our walls in preparation for paint.  I have hole patching, cleaning and prepping for brick dust, adobe white, ponytail, and smoky slate in my future.

Above is a photo from my half hour of wandering around the Castro a few weeks ago with a friend of mine.  My wife had  to check up on her store there and I had some time to kill.  I know I am killing it but once again, Canon SD600 through the viewfinder of my Polaroid One Step.
